We started oraventhio in 2019 after watching too many business owners struggle with company formation paperwork when they should've been focusing on their actual work. The whole process felt unnecessarily complicated.

Our founder, Elspeth Garside, spent years working in corporate compliance. She saw the same patterns repeating - good business ideas getting delayed because the administrative side was overwhelming. Sometimes people picked the wrong structure entirely because they didn't understand the options.

How We Got Here

The path from a one-person operation to a team of twelve wasn't exactly planned. It just happened as more people needed help.

2019

Started with a Question

Elspeth left her corporate compliance role and set up shop in a small Perth office. The initial goal was simple - help five businesses get properly established. We hit that number in the first month, which was both exciting and slightly terrifying.

2021

First Team Members

Brought on Henrik Thorsell and Cora Pembleton to handle the increasing workload. Both came from different backgrounds - Henrik from accounting, Cora from legal admin. That mix of perspectives turned out to be exactly what clients needed when making structure decisions.

2023

Expanded Services

Clients kept asking about what happens after formation. So we added ongoing compliance support and structure reviews. Not because we planned to - just because it made sense to help people beyond day one.

Where We Are Now

A team of twelve working with businesses across Australia. We've processed formation paperwork for companies in 47 different industries. The variety keeps things interesting and helps us understand different business needs better.

The People Behind the Paperwork

Our team includes former accountants, legal administrators, and business advisors. Most of us ended up here because we wanted to help businesses get started without the usual bureaucratic headaches.

We're based in Perth but work with clients throughout Australia. The team meets every Monday morning to review current formations and share insights from different industries we've been working with.
